ib vogt joins the United Nations Global Compact

Berlin, Germany, 29/11/2022 – ib vogt has signed the United Nations (UN) Global Compact, the world’s largest voluntary corporate sustainability initiative.

Established in 2000, signatories pledge to align their operations and strategies with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact which pertain to human rights, labor, environmental practices, and anti-corruption measures. The initiative also encourages companies to take action towards broader social benefits, as outlined in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With more than 16,000 companies from over 160 countries participating, the UN Global Compact is the most widespread and successful initiative of its kind.

Joining the UN Global Compact will enhance ib vogt’s on-going environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy and approaches, which include working towards carbon neutrality by systematically eliminating its carbon footprint, promoting a sustainable supply chain, fostering corporate social responsibility projects, and increasing diversity and well-being throughout its workforce.

As a signatory of the UN Global Compact, ib vogt will report its yearly progress in implementing the Ten Principles and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals. ib vogt’s annual Sustainability Report will feature information around the company’s efforts impacting the SDGs and its ongoing progress.
