ib vogt achieves PAC for 34 MWp in the Netherlands project Molenwaard
Berlin/Germany, 26/05/2020. Solar developer and EPC contractor ib vogt has achieved Provisional Acceptance milestone (PAC) for 34 MWp solar PV project Molenwaard in Hoogezand, Netherlands. The plant started delivering renewable energy to the grid for the first time in March 2020.
With more than 90.000 solar panels installed, the solar PV plant produces an average of 33 097 MWh of electricity per year. This is enough to supply the demand of around 9,200 households while preventing 15,853 tonnes of CO2 emission annually. Operation and Maintenance services are provided by ib vogt.
Finishing works and hot commissioning were executed in close coordination and according to advice and regulations set by authorities during the coronavirus outbreak. Anton Milner, CEO of ib vogt, says: “We took special sets of site-related measures together with our partners to mitigate contagion risk for projects under construction. This enables us to continue our work and we do not expect to see notable disruptions on our running projects and running business.”
